CR2

CR2 is a camera file format (CIFF) that was released by Canon on February 12,1997. Therefore, CR2 contains contains minimally processed data from the image sensor. Normally, the image is processed by a raw converter in a wide-gamut internal colorspace where precise adjustments can be made before conversion to a “positive” file format such as TIFF or JPEG for storage, printing, or further manipulation, which often encodes the image in a device-dependent colorspace. CR2 can use in some commercial applications such as Adobe photoshop, apterture, AZimage, Exiftool, Adobe Lightroom, Picasa, dcraw, Jrawio, and Libraw. Nowadays, the simple free-use codec such as JEPG becomes popular than before. Moreover, camera technology is developed more accuracy, therefore, many amateur photographers have changed to use JPG for shooting the objects instant CR2 because JPG takes the smaller capacity than CR2

FLV

FLV is a container file format used to deliver video over the internet using (initially produced by Macromedia) The format has quickly established itself as the format of choice for embedded video on the web. Notable users of the Flash Video format include YouTube, Google Video, Yahoo! Video, metacafe, Reuters.com, and many other news providers. FLV can run in many applications such as Adobe Media Player, Media Player Classic, MPlayer, Realplayer, VLC media player. According to youtube.com, the HD technology is coming and become popular. Unfortunately, FLV cannot support HD format (720, 1080 pixel). Therefore, MP4, which support HD format, will recently become popular.
